We met this adorable couple at Stone Beer Garden Oceanside (a personal favorite) about a year or so ago and next summer we get to be a part of their big day on the beach, how rad is that?! Till then here are shots from their Oceanside Beach and Pier engagement shoot. Scooby rocked his bow tie like a boss and Coco was unbothered by her pink and yellow head band. In love with the quilted blanket and that golden hour sun!
I can’t quite place how I joined the Shoot and Share community nevertheless, their mission and passion alines with mine; as a photographer I do what I love and I believe in community rather than competition which is at the core of the Shoot and Share community. Photographers from all over the world encourage and inspire one another through insight and images, I find that pretty badass. So when they announced a photo contest I couldn’t wait to join.
Here are some of our results from the Shoot and Share 2015 photo contest.
And they loved happily ever after!
Seriously nothing but smiles for miles ALL day long! Just see for yourself. These two are so madly in love and it shows. My favorites from the day include the “first look” with the entire bridal party, the color scheme (white, teal, and choral), and of course the shout out to 16inch softball!!
We were thrilled when Russell and Megan asked us to photography their wedding day especially since it would take place in our neck of the woods! Since our relocation to San Diego, about a year and a half ago, we travel back quite a bit to Chicago, but when Russ said they would be tying the knot at Buena Creek Gardens in San Marcos, well, to put it mildly – we couldn’t wait. Madly in love and happy together these two can’t hide their love from the world. A personal ceremony with lots of personal touches and a great exit strategy, involving the entire crowd and silly sting, we can’t help but absolutely love these two!
The gardens tho,
Naturally and beautifully filled with unique and uncommon plants and for the event with Nomad Nuptials furniture, flower arrangements, and sweet little details, seriously, this sister duo does it all! What a day to remember!!
Check out this Fabyan Windmill backdrop at Liz and Eric’s engagement shoot. And even though we couldn’t take photos at the Japanese Gardens as they wished, the surrounding areas proved more than perfect for this happily engaged couple. Can’t wait for the big day!
